The Cardiac Imaging Academy Fellowship
A continuing professional community for cardiologists and radiologists who report cardiac CT. Each week there is a live tutorial with the consultant faculty, and any member can submit an anonymised case for a consultant opinion. Between the tutorials there is a recorded archive, a case of the week and a private peer community. The Fellowship also supports you through the BSCI Level 2 submission, SCCT verification and, in time, a BSCI Level 3 application.
What members receive
Weekly live teaching
A 60-minute live tutorial each week with Dr Kannoly or Dr Junaid. Case-led and interactive, never a rerun. Topics rotate through the Level 2 and Level 3 syllabus over the year.
Review of your own cases
Anonymise and post any case you are unsure about. A consultant reads it and responds, usually within 24 hours.
A growing portfolio
Every case you report or review adds to your evidence base. Over a year, members build a documented portfolio of several hundred cases, which is the foundation of a Level 3 application.
Peer community
A private, vetted community of cardiologists and radiologists: discussion threads, journal club and accreditation support.
Recorded archive
Every tutorial is recorded and indexed by topic. Miss a week and catch up when the relevant case appears on your own list.
Pathway support
Guidance on the BSCI Level 2 logbook and verification form, SCCT verification, and the BSCI Level 3 application when you are ready.
Two ways to join
Through the course
Enrol on the Level 1 and 2 Cardiac CT Course and the first six months of the Fellowship are included. Support continues from the Monday after the course, when your 25-case logbook begins.

A typical week
Most members spend 90 to 120 minutes a week on the Fellowship, fitted around clinical work. The rhythm is the same each week; the content rotates. Attend live or watch the recording.

Common questions
Do I need to have completed a course before joining?
No. The Fellowship is open to any qualified cardiologist or radiologist with an active cardiac imaging practice. Most members are at or working towards Level 2; some are at Level 3 and join for the case archive, the weekly teaching and the peer community. We verify professional eligibility when you sign up.
How do I cancel, and is there a minimum term?
Cancel at any time from your account with no notice period. The Fellowship is a rolling monthly subscription with no minimum term. If you cancel part-way through a month, access continues to the end of that billing period and you are not charged again.
What happens to the six months included with the course?
If you enrolled on the course with the Fellowship included, the first six months are prepaid. From month seven the standard rate of £150 a month applies. If you cancel during the first six months, unused months are refunded at £75 a month.
Can I submit any case for review?
Yes, provided it is anonymised in line with NHS and GMC information governance standards, with no patient identifiers and no protected metadata in the DICOM headers. Anonymisation remains your responsibility under your local policy. We provide a guide and recommended free tools when you join.
Can my hospital pay for the Fellowship?
Yes. We issue monthly VAT invoices addressed to your trust or institution, and can supply a short business case for a study leave or CPD budget application.
Will the price go up?
For members who join before 31 December 2026, the £150 monthly rate is fixed for as long as they remain a member, even if the rate rises for later joiners.
